The Suites at Sugar Mill Point, nestled in one of the Houma area’s finest residential communities, is a bright, loving environment in which residents receive the utmost care. A caring and professional staff places the individual dignity of each resident first. The building’s 36 apartments (licensed for 40 residents) represent three distinct “neighborhoods,” or twelve-apartment communities to care for residents at various stages of the aging process. Schonberg & Associates developed the neighborhood concept to ensure comfort and mitigate confusion and agitation for those with memory impairment conditions. Home-cooked meals, activities, salon services and religious services are just a few of the facility’s amenities. The Suites' staff and owners are involved and committed members of the Houma community.
